Free Voice is about finding your voice in a way that feels honest, embodied, and free.

Whether you want to speak with confidence, sing with ease, or simply feel more yourself when you express, I’m here to support you. I bring together years of vocal coaching, counselling, and body-based therapy experience to create a space that’s safe, real, and tailored to you.
Your voice doesn’t have to be perfect — just true.
A Bit About Me

When Performing Felt Like Safety

I’ve been performing since I was five — the stage felt like a safe place, not because I was fully myself, but because I could be someone else. I could disappear into a role, into a song, into a story. And while I loved singing deeply, actually letting my true voice be heard — that felt terrifying.
There was always a vulnerability in it. A sense that if I really let it out, something too real might come through.

Peeling Back the Layers

It’s taken me years — and it’s still unfolding — to peel back those layers and meet my voice as it truly is. Not polished. Not perfect. Just honest. That process has been at the heart of my healing and the driving force behind Free Voice.

When I was working in show bands, musical duos, or performing solo, I often battled anxiety and a harsh inner critic. Despite years of acting, teaching theatre, performing and lecturing, singing felt like a different kind of exposure — raw and unguarded. I realised that to keep performing, I had to turn inward.

Voice as a Vehicle for Healing

With the support of many generous teachers, therapists, and healers, I began using vocal exploration itself as a tool for healing — not to sound better, but to feel safer in my body. Bit by bit, I found a sense of grounding, compassion, and freedom through a deeping connection with my breath, body and voice.

A Lifelong Journey of Self-Discovery

Looking back, I can see that my desire to understand and open to my own voice has underpinned everything. Singing, performing, counselling, researching, communicating, studying, and teaching — each one has been a vehicle for self-discovery. Every block, every trigger became an invitation to reflect more deeply and a practice to meet myself with honesty, care and kindness.

Free Voice Today

Today, as a professional counsellor with a Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy, I draw from both personal and many years of professional experience. Free Voice brings together trauma-informed therapy, somatic awareness, and vocal practice to help others discover their own path to vocal freedom, self-connection, and strength in vulnerability.

This work is still evolving — just like my voice and my connection to self — and I’m honoured to share it with those who feel now is the right time.
